“ Review Date: November 17th, 2014 Boozies is great. After seeing the Davenport Sky Bridge and Rhythm City Casino, my friends and I were hungry and looking for some drinks. The coat check lady at Rhythm City Casino recommended this place... and we are sure glad she did. Walking it, it was a slow day, so we sat at the bar to converse with the bartender. She was jubilant and friendly. Served us promptly and kept us entertained. We ordered food and the chef came out to even talk to us. When he served us our food, he actually gave us an extra burger (we only ordered 2) and almost double the wings we ordered. He said we seemed like cool guys and wanted to take care of us. We tried to tip the chef, but he refused it no matter how hard we tried. The food itself was great! But then again, I have a soft spot for bar food. I always say ‘Bar Food is the Best Food’! On top of that, we happened upon a drink special. So we were wining and dining for dirt cheap. So all in all, it was a great time and just the thing we all needed. Full of food. Full of beer. Full of good memories. That’s what road tripping is all about! ”
